Recorded quickly at the Unknown-- the recording studio which is home to the band, and is owned and run by member Nicholas Wilbur. It picks up where 2014's 'Glossy Recall' left off (released under former band name Hungry Cloud Darkening on Off Tempo Records), pointing new light into that old familiar hollow, as well as putting forward some new experiments including what the band deviously refer to as "rock songs". Most of all, 'Diminished & Transmitting' seems to be the natural progression of the 3 now 30-somethings (Nich, Allyson Foster, & Paul Frunzi [Ever Ending Kicks]) continuing to follow a thread with no outside pressure or illusions of where it might lead, exercising their strange luck to be available for such tinkering.
